Chartered Trainee Accountants

We accept applications for graduates wishing to pursue a career in accountancy and gain a recognised professional qualification (ACA).  We are now accepting applications for a contract commencing September 2008.  

The three year training contract involves a comprehensive study and work experience programme.  Full training and exam support, using specialised training companies, will be given to the successful applicants. We offer paid study leave in addition to your annual and statutory holiday entitlement.

Our client base is diverse and ranges in size from large companies to small sole traders. As a result we can offer a wider exposure to a variety of work experiences than most other firms our size. We offer a hands on advisory service to our clients and you will benefit from direct client contact and the chance to make a real contribution to their affairs.

Applicants should have a UCAS tariff score of 300 or above, or equivalent and a 2i honours degree.

'A' level students

The diversity of our client base means we are also looking for 'A' level students interested in a career in accountancy who will study for the AAT (Accounting Technician) qualification.  On completion, students may be offered the option to Fast Track from AAT to the Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA). You could qualify as a Chartered Accountant in as little as two years.

The training contract includes exam support (including paid study leave) and a thorough study and work experience programme. 

Applicants should have a minimum 5 GCSES, including "A" grades in English and Maths and 2 'A' levels at "B" or above. Equivalent grades at International Baccalaureate level are also welcomed.
