A tax investigation can be a stressful and expensive experience – all the more so as you are unlikely to be used to such an investigation.  We have expertise in dealing with Inland Revenue and Customs enquiries and investigations from a simple enquiry into a PAYE matter through to the more serious investigations by the Special Compliance Office (SCO).

We recently concluded negotiations with SCO on behalf of a client, having agreed payment of Tax, Interest and Penalties of £175,000. This may seem a lot unless you know that SCO originally demanded £875,000! Needless to say our client was delighted.
